You must have heard the word proxy from your friends or classmate and if you have the following questions in mind.

1) What are Proxies?

2) How they work?

3) How can i use them to unlock blocked website?

4) What does it means to browse securely using anonymous proxies.

So this post has all the answers to your questions.First of all let me give you the defination of Proxy server.

What Is Proxy Server ?

Proxy Server is a server (a computer system or an application program) that services the requests of its clients by forwarding requests to other servers. A client connects to the proxy server, requesting some service, such as a file, connection, web page, or other resource, available from a different server. The proxy server provides the resource by connecting to the specified server and requesting the service on behalf of the client.

In this post i have also mentioned a word anonymous proxies.Basically there are some type of proxy servers.

Anonymous

Transparent

Elite

The most secure proxy servers are anonymous proxies because they hide your identity and they requests the service on behalf of the client. So your IP will never be shown to the website you are browsing.

You can use anonymous proxies to unlocked blocked websites at work or college. The process of using proxy is too simple.

There are two types of proxies which you can use to unlock websites.

1) Webbased Proxies.

2) Proxy servers IPs.

First we will discuss about Webbased Proxies.Using webbased proxies is much easier as compare to using Proxy servers IPs.Following are some well know web based proxies you can use to unlock websites.

Hidemyass

Pagewash

Vtunnel

Anonymouse

Kproxy

Now lets talk about Proxy servers IPs.

First of all you have to go at any of the sites given below then you will have a long list of fresh Proxy servers IPs.Countries of Proxy servers IPs will also be mention with the Proxy servers IPs so just copy any 1 IP from the list.

Samair.ru

Proxy4free

Digitalcybersoft

After copying the IP of proxy server now you need to use IP in Internet Explorer or Firefox.I would prefer Firefox as it works much better in proxy as compare to internet explorer.

How to use Anonymous Proxy in Internet Explorer.

To use proxy in Internet Explorer

Go to > Internet Explorer Properties > Connections Tab > LAN Setting

Now select the check box for using proxy and enter the IP and port you recently copied from the sites given above and then Click OK and come out from Internet Explorer Settings. Now you have configured Internet Explorer to use Anonymous proxy.

How to use Anonymous Proxies in Firefox.

Open Firefox

Go to > Tools > Options > Advance tab > Network Tab > Settings

Now Select Manual Proxy Configuration and enter the proxy IP and port click OK and come out from settings and you are done!
