Initial Setup

Warning: Backup your current USB drive!

Delete everything from your current USB drive.
Extract USBApps.zip to your USB drive.
Explore your USB drive.
Setup an encrypted partition to secure sensitive files.
Double click on TrueCrypt.
Click “Create Volume” button to start TrueCrypt Volume Creation Wizard.
Click “Next” at the first screen (this will create a standard TrueCrypt volume).
In Volume Location, type “X:\files.tc” Where X: is the volume letter for your thumbdrive and then click Next. (i.e. If your thumbdrive is mounted as the G: drive, type G:\files.tc)
Select your Encryption Options and then click Next. (If you don’t know what to do, just accept the defaults)
Input a Volume Size. This has to be smaller than the remaing free space on your thumbdrive.
Select a Volume Password. (Make sure it is a STRONG password that you won’t forget)
On the Volume Format screen, leave the defaults and select Format.
When it is done, it will tell you. Just click OK and then Exit.
Create a folder on your C: drive called USBBackup (if you want to use the backup feature).

Usage
If you have Windows XP Service Pack 2, when you insert your drive into a USB port, it will prompt you for a password. This password is the one you specified when you created the TrueCrypt volume during the initial setup. If you enter the password correctly, it will mount your encrypted volume as the Q: drive. (Make sure you dismount the volume before you unplug your drive)
To access the advanced features of this flash drive setup, right click on the drive in the the My Computer window.
TrueCrypt Mount – This will attempt to mount the encrypted volume you created as the Q: drive. This is included in case Autorun is turned off or you don’t have WinXP SP2.
TrueCrypt Backup – This will backup your Q: drive (if you have it mounted) to C:\USBBackup.
TrueCrypt Dismount All – This will dismount any and all encrypted volumes.
TrueCrypt Start – If you want to manually mount or dismount encrypted volumes.
PStart – Launches PStart (see below)
Explore – If you want to browse the contents of your flash drive.

Extra Security
If you want to be a little more cautios, you can run some of the apps from the encrypted partition you created. This will allow you to store favorites and profile settings in the encrypted files.tc you created above. To do this follow these steps:
Make sure your files.tc has been mounted to the Q: drive. If it isn’t, right click on your flash drive in Explorer and select TrueCrypt Mount and mount the partition.
Make sure PStart is not running.
Move the folder called PortableApps from the root of your flash drive to the Q: drive.
Rename PStart.xml to PStartBackup.xml.
Rename PStartSecure.xml to PStart.xml.
Now when you want to launch the portable versions of Firefox, Gaim, Opera, OpenOffice, FileZilla, Thunderbird, Sunbird, AbiWord or NVU, you must have your encrypted Q: drive mounted.

CyberShredder erases confidential files from your computer permanently. Normal file deletion will remove a file’s directory entry and allocation table information. The actual disk clusters that contained the file’s data remains intact on your hard disk and can be recovered later. CyberShredder overwrites the space occupied from a file with random data and erases the file, so an unerase utility will never be able to recover it. It has three different methods of deleting files including the NSA approved seven-pass file deletion method.

Babble Deluxe
Babble Deluxe is a puzzle game. The game board contains 25 random letters arranged in a 5 x 5 grid. The goal of the game is to find as many words as possible within the time limit. You can play alone for the highest score or play against one of the computer players.

Bricks2000 is a tetris clone. Throughout the game, various types of “bricks” fall from the top to the bottom of the playing area. When the bricks form a solid row of blocks across the playing area, that row vanishes.

Gem Drop X
Gem Drop X is a fast-paced puzzle game where it’s your job to clear the screen of gems before they squash you. You’re at the bottom, they’re at the top, and they keep coming! You grab gems (up to 10) of the same color and use them to knock more gems off the screen. Match 3 or more of the same color in a column and they explode. Any adjacent gems of the same color also explode, causing a chain reaction that might cover the entire screen. The more gems that disappear with one shot, the higher the score you get.

Mega Mario
Mega Mario is a Super Mario Bros clone. It features everything in the original game, but now comes with better graphics, higher resolution, smoother movement and new levels.

vectoroids
Vectoroids is a clone of the classic arcade game “Asteroids” by Atari. Your objective is to maneuver a space ship within a field of asteroids, and shoot them into smaller and smaller pieces, eventually destroying them completely.
