How to upload files at hotfile.com using ftp client

Hotfile is becoming one of the favorite filehosting service nowadays because of its good speed and less restrictions as compared to rapidshare.com.One of the another nice feature of hotfile is that, we can upload files using any of the ftp client software or by mapping a network drive in my computer.

In this tutorial, i am gonna tell you how you can upload the files to hotfiles.com using ftp client (e.g. Filezilla or cuteftp).

First of all we need to download a ftp client.You can use filezilla.Which is free and one of the best ftp client too.Download link is given below

After downloading, install filezilla in your computer.Which isn’t a difficult task i think, so i m skipping this step from tutorial.Now i assume that you have downloaded and installed filezilla at this point.

To upload files at hotfile using ftp client.We need to register an account at hotfile, which isn’t a big deal, its just a one step and one time process.To register an account at hotfile click on the following link

When the registeration is done.You will have a username and password at hotfile.

Now you need to open up the installed filezilla client.Following is the screenshot after launching filezilla

Now in the host field, enter ftp.hotfile.com in username type your username at hotfile and your password at hotfile, you registered this in the step given above and then connect.When you are connected to hotfile ftp server you can uploaded files.
