Google buys BumpTop

BumpTop posted a news on their homepage that “BumTop has been acquired by Google”.BumpTop made this announcement in very strange way.They announced that “we’re excited to announce that we’ve been acquired by Google”.BumpTop has also announced that BumpTop (for both Windows and Mac) will no longer be available for sale.Additionally, no updates to the products are planned.

Bump Technologies Inc. releases BumpTop 1.0 (for Windows and Mac) on April 8, 2009 with the vision to completely change the way people use their desktops.
