March 11th, 2010 | by admin |According to Neowin, Google has expanded Street View for the UK and now Google Street View covers almost 96% of UK roads. That means you’ll be able to see about 96% of the 246,985 miles of thoroughfares. Now you’ll be able to virtually visit cities and hamlets of UK.
This major update comes on the back of a ruling from the EU that Google can only keep unblurred images for a maximum of 6 months. Google’s policy before this ruling was to keep images for 12 months.
Everyone will not love the service because it invades on their privacy, but the Street View service is very useful if it is correctly Used.
