By working on cloud antivirus for 3 years Panda has now released the beta version of its cloud antivirus.With cloud technology this antivirus has high detection rate and it detects and cleans viruses in minimum time as compare to other antivirus softwares. Panda’s system utilizes anonymous data from users running the application and processes about 50,000 new threats each day.

The program uses Panda’s proprietary cloud computing technology, which they call Collective Intelligence, to detect viruses, malware, rootkits, and heuristicsIt is also being said that this is the most lightweight antivirus software that can be run on 32-bit version of windows.Another good thing is that it is free for personal use so you won’t have to pay anything this time.

The new program reportedly takes up around 50 MB on the hard drive and eats around 17 MB of RAM when in use.
