6 Reasons why Firefox is better than Internet Explorer

Firefox or IE which browser is best this is the most common dispute between peoples.Nowadays most peoples choose Firefox there can be many different reasons behind choosing Firefox over IE.In this post i am gonna post some reason that can take Firefox a step ahead from IE.
1) Built in Download Manager
Firefox has Builtin Download Manager.You can pause and resume your downloads whenever you want without having a need of a third party software.Internet Explorer has no such feature and you have to install a third party software to do this i.e Download Manager, Download Accelerator etc.
2) Great Plugins support.
Great plugins support of Firefox has played a really important role in the success of Firefox now there are around thousands of plugins available for Firefox that can extend the functionality of Firefox.You can do lots of your tasks with firefox by using plugins like torrent downloader,Global search,download manager and so much.
3) Themes
If you don’t like the Firefox default look and want to change Firefox look, for this Firefox gives you theme manager and there are many themes available on firefox website so you can apply any theme you like.
In Internet Explorer there is no theme manager, so you will always have to use Internet Explorer default look.
4) Cross Platform Support
This is another an important point which makes Firefox different from IE.Firefox is cross platform browser and can be run on almost any operating system but this is not in case with IE.IE can only be used on widows.
5) Session Restore
Support you have a sudden electric failure or a problem occurs with the hardware of your computer and your computer is powered off unexpectedly.You had lots of browser’s windows opened.If the browser was firefox then you don’t need to worry as firefox has the option to restore the session whenever you open firefox again.
6) Auto Update
Whenever Microsoft gives an update of Internet Explorer, you have to use Windows Update or Download an Update Manually but Firefox checks for update and Download Update itself, and Apply It after your permission.

One of the nicest features in the new IE8 is selection based search (Accelerators). For readers who use Firefox and IE8, I wanted your readers to be aware that Firefox has a version of Accelerators too, it is called “KALLOUT – Accelerators for Firefox” It’s available as a free add-on through Firefox. I believe the Accelerators developed for IE8 will actually work directly with KallOut-Accelerators for Firefox so users can stick with Firefox if they want and still get the benefits of the developers who build Accelerators for IE8.

Interesting how it’s always a war. Actually, I.E. is the only browser you should not use.
Firefox is nice – 3.5 is pretty fast and the add-ons add amazing features. Chromium is also extremely good, and Opera is quite stunning.
Why not support CHOICE? Of course, this means avoiding Microsoft – who even make Firefox unsafe by pushing add-ons through the back-door (Windows Updates) and they wonder why many people don’t use Auto Update!!! It’s just not safe!!!
6th reason Firefox is better – it runs smoothly on my linux desktop and doesn’t compete for resources with security crapware
