8 DVD burning tips for effective DVD burning
December 1st, 2008 | by admin |DVD burning isn’t a very tuff job even you have also burned lots of DVD before reading this post but there are some tips which you should have in your mind before burning the DVDs having these tips in mind will really help you in effective burning.It must have happened sometimes with you that your DVDs are being read very slowly by your DVD ROM or you have some files corrupted in DVD.
Hopefully you wont be facing any of the problems if you have the following tips in mind.
1) Good quality DVD : Always use a good quality new DVD (e.g. Sony or maxell) for burning.
2) Use DVD – R : If you want to burn lots of data like 4 + GB then always use DVD – R because it is faster and much reliable
3) DVD Burning Software : CD burning software can really effect the quality of your burned DVD.Software like nero is a well known CD/DVD burning software.
4) Burn at slow speed : Burning with slow speed always increase the performance.It has happened to me lots of times when i burned with high speed and DVDs are corrupted
5) Burn using Disc-at-Once mode : Track-At-Once mode is meant to help avoid buffer underruns on slower computers
6) Use a felt-tip marker to write on the top of your recordable discs : Never use a ball-point pen, or roller ball pen. These pens could damage the recording layer, which is just beneath the printed top layer.
7) Enable buffer under-run protection: Enable the buffer under-run-protection in your burning application before you burn your data.
CD Cleaning : Clean the outside of your DVD Burner to reduce the risk of dusk getting into the lense when you open it.
