How to play a song in windows startup
October 26th, 2008 | by admin |You must have got bored while listening the same sound everytime you bootup your windows.But you have never though that you can change the default sound to any of the other sound you want ( May be a song).You can use any sound file with .wav extension in windows startup.But before using the sound make sure that the song or any other sound must be .wav otherwise you will be greeted with an error.
To use song in windows startup follow the guidelines given below.
1 Go to start, then control panel, then choose sounds, speech, and audio devices.
2 Then click on sounds and audio devices.
3 Now click on sound
4 Now on program events you scroll down and choose “Start Windows”
5 Now choose “Browse…” and find your msuic file (wav)
6 Now just click on a song,

I found that this doesn’t work on vista… that is to say thatit seems only applicable to xp
