Installing addons is one of the best firefox feature and everybody loves it therefore new addons and scripts are created by individuals everyday.In this post I will post about a script which is capable of checking rapidshare link.You don’t need to do anything just install this script and it automatically check when you open any webpage which has rapidshare links and after checking it will show a green mark for OK links and red mark for dead link.Isn’t it too convienient.

1) First of all you have to install Firefox Greasemonkey Addon (iF you already have then you may skip this step)

Go to the following link to install Firefox Greasemonkey Addon

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

Just click on the ‘ Add to Firefox ‘ button and then restart Firefox once downloaded.

2) Now you need to install the script which will check for rapidshare links.

Go to the following link

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/9467

When the above link is opened in the top right corner you can see the option to Install this script just
click on that button and a pop up will appear.In the pop up click the Install button and that is it.

Now open up any page which has rapidshare links.

If the links are OK you will see the following screen

If the links are dead you will see the following screen
