Follow the Steps given below to diable the Windows XP startup screen.
1.Click on Start then right click on My Computer then Select ‘Properties’ then Select the ‘Advanced’ tab
2.In the ‘Startup and Recovery’ section, click ‘Settings’
3.In the ‘System Startup’ section, click on ‘Edit’ to open the boot.ini file.You will see a line that looks like the given below:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS=”Microsoft Windows XP Professional” /fastdetect
4.Change the line to read as below:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS=”Microsoft Windows XP Professional” /fastdetect /sos
Note: The /sos parameter displays the names of the drivers as they load during the boot process.
5. Close Notepad, click Yes when Notepad asks if you want to save your changes
6. Click OK and exit System Properties.
7.Now Reboot Your system.After reboot you will not see startup screen.
